Hello, and thank you for visiting my site.

Since my childhood, I always had a passion for photography. At the age of 14, my parents donated me a basic camera. I loved to take pictures (slides), especially during hiking tours in the Italian Dolomites. Around 2 years later, I was proud to have a first SLR camera, a Praktika which I got from my East German grandparents. My cameras have changed a few times since then, but my focus always remained on landscape and urban photograpy - mostly during travelling to many parts of the world (on business or with my family), my other big passion. Currently I'm focusing on Heidelberg photography, portraying my beloved home town.

In my images I love to show the beauty that surrounds us, and my camera helps me to find it - sometimes behind the obvious. When being on a photographic journey, I enjoy the timeless silence, far away from my day to day life in IT business.

Recently, I began editing my images - to sometimes reveal subjects in a different and unique way.
